Unfortunately, [his] own FBI director, James Comey, says the U.S. can't properly vet Syrians for ties to Islamic jihad. Likewise, the assistant director for the FBI, Michael Steinback, has told Congress that when it comes to Syrian refugees, "We don't have it under control."
"Absolutely, we're doing the best we can," he testified in February before the House. "If I were to say that we had it under control, then I would say I know of every single individual traveling. I don't. And I don't know every person there and I don't know everyone coming back. So it's not even close to being under control."And yet, according to Canada's Justin Trudeau, bringing 25,000 of these individuals here by Christmas will pose no problem:
Meanwhile, Greek media reported that one of the eight attackers killed by French police was found to have Syrian and Egyptian passports. If true, that could fuel fears of ISIS sleeper agents posing as refugees to slip into Western countries.
Trudeau remains confident that 25,000 Syrian refugees can be resettled in a safe and responsible manner, the government official said.Riiiiiight. The Americans, with ten times our population, can't get a handle on a mere fraction of the numbers we're planning to import, but Justin the Confident (who's either stupid, or is lying, or both) thinks everything's coming up roses.
Or it is 'splosives?
I guess time alone will tell.
