The Calligraphy's Gorgeous. Some of the Contents...Not So Much

Can an exhibit of breathtakingly beautiful Korans make Islam look better to infidels?

Sure. But only if no one bothers to translate some of the books' more problematic passages.

IIRC under Islam calligraphy is one of the few forms of art allowed. Depicting the human form is definately a no-no.
