Irked By a Jerk

I don't know who writes the propaganda for this Iranian news outlet, but I'd like to take a nano-second to salute his/her deft use of the English tongue. Yesterday, for instance, U.S. actions were characterized as "seamy"--a word redolent of decadence and the red light district. In a piece today, Canada is said to be "irked"--yes, "irked"--by Iran's appointment to the UN's women's "rights" body. As the scribbler points out, though, Canada's irkitude (irkiness?) is irrelevent since

Iran blames Western countries for most of the abuses and rights violations that happen around the world.
Also,

Canada's government is currently struggling with the parliament over documents that could implicate Canada in torture of Afghan detainees while in American custody.
Er, I'm pretty sure the "struggle," such as it is, is about Afghans torturing Afghans who had been handed over by Canada, but no matter. What's really crucial is that, according genocidaire-wannabe A-jad
freedom of expression and freedom of religion [are] integral parts of Iranian culture.
No wonder you're such a big hit with UN "rights" outfits, Mahmoud.

Update: Oh gawd--he's coming to the U.S. again (to attend a UN nuclear confab). Madness to the enth degree.
