Retiring a Longstanding Debt

It took 92 years, but come Oct. 3rd Germany will make its final  war reparations payment as set out in the Treaty of Versailles. Which rather begs the question: what took them so long?

Germany had a smart, tough Jewish negotiator at the time; - is the reason He really did get the better of the French, all things considered.

Hitler made it an issue that Germany was screwed by a Jew at Versailles but historians all agree that it was much better off coming out than it was going in.
