What He Said

Bill Kelly of the Washington Times writes:
I am sick of the threats from the Imam and the lectures from our President, who seems more concerned with hurting the feelings of the Muslim world that with the feelings of most Americans. Americans are the ones who have been tolerant here. Far too many in the Islamic community - it seems - are not. Where is the outpouring of grief and outrage from the Muslim world? We've been waiting about nine years for it.

Imam Rauf's Cordoba Initiative website has an interesting slogan: "Improving Muslim-West relations." So has Imam Raulf accomplished his stated goal? After months of protest, has he bended? Has he recognized the insensitivity of his position to the families of those killed on 9/11? Has he changed his inflammatory rhetoric? The answer is no.

Are the Imam and President Obama alone in their hypocrisy? No, again.
