It Seems to Me I've Heard That Rant Before

Crazed Arab Jew-haters demonstrators in Tunisia are reportedly shouting "Khaybar, Khaybar, O Jews, the army of Muhammad will return" as they rage protest in front of a synagogue.

Now, where have I heard that one before? Oh, wait. Now I remember.

Surely Barack Obama, clever boots that he is, has some words of advice for Arab regimes in the midst of such upheaval?
President Obama on Tuesday warned Middle Eastern nations, including longtime U.S. allies, that they need to "get out ahead" of surging aspirations for democracy...

The world is changing," he said in a message directed to Middle East leaders. "You have a young, vibrant generation within the Middle East that is looking for greater opportunity. . . . You can't be behind the curve."
Thanks, Mr. President. I'm sure your "allies" will find that advice most opaque and clichéd helpful.

Update: While going all Knute Rockne on the Arabs, urging them to "get out ahead" and not "behind the curve," Obama doesn't deign to do the same for Iranians.
