Scary Liberal With Not-So-Hidden Agenda

David Frum writes in the National Post that Iggy was sending out "dog whistle signals" to the Zion-loathers during the English language debate this week. And the signals he was sending out, for those who cared to listen, promised a return to the bad old days of Liberal mendacity vis-a-vis Israel:
Ignatieff took time in the leaders' debate to signal that if he should become prime minister, the old ways on the Middle East would return.

Those old ways had Canada condemning Hezbollah as a terrorist organization while still allowing Hezbollah to fundraise inside Canada.

The old ways had Canada denouncing anti-Semitism, then attending and funding UN conferences at which the Protocols of the Elders of Zion were distributed.

The old ways had Canada hailing Israel as an ally--even as Canadian taxpayer dollars funded NGOs that urged economic warfare against Israel.

That was the past. It could be the future again...
Indeed. And here's Iggy laying it all out for us, sans the whistle:

Durban and Kairos, Security Council.
Doling out dollars in immense amounts'll
Cure the world's ills and make Lib'rals feel good.
These are the things I would do if I could...

When I'm P.M.
Our per diem
Hits the stratosphere.
I'll simply dismember what Tories have done
And then it will disappear.
