Your 'Friendly' Neighbourhood Khomeinists

Stewart Bell reports that the double Duke videos are no longer on the CASMO site--but you already knew that if you've been reading me, Sassy or BCF. So, really, there's not much point in rehashing old news. I must admit, though, that the following line in the Bell piece gave me a bit of a chuckle:

...The Markham-based national Shia Muslim group, federally incorporated in 2008 to support "multiculturalism" and "interfaith dialogue," did not respond to emails requesting comment.

So much for its committment to "dialogue." Apparently, their idea of "dialogue" amounts to inviting dhimmis to dinner and giving them clocks. Rather a one-sided "dialogue," no?

To return to the Bell, this other bit is quite amusing, too:

Grand Ayatollah Hosseini Nassab, a Toronto Shia cleric, said in an email that "the followers of all religions should be united" and deal with each other in a "friendly" manner.

"Friendly," huh? Reading between the line, it sounds like his Grandioseness is pitching the "unity" and the "friendliness" of sharia. And, sorry, I didn't happen to find CASMO's over-the-top elegy for a genocidal, supremacist Hezbo cleric to be particularly "friendly."

Sickening, yes. Revealing, yes. Unintentionally funny, yes.

But "friendly"?

Not so much.
