Khomeinist website ABNA has the details:
The 9th Conference on Islamic Economics and Finance has today kicked off in Istanbul. Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan told APA that two-day event is being held by the organization of Turkish government, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Center for Islamic Countries, Islamic Development Bank (IDB), Islamic Research and Training Institute (IRTI), the International Association for Islamic Economics and Qatar Foundation. Azerbaijan will be represented at the forum by Mahir Humbatov, expert of the CSS.

The main topics of the event will be: “Growth, Equity and Stability: the Islamic vision” and “Sustainable finance and sustainable development”.

In general, topics on “Islamic economy and the impact of its content on development of the ECO countries”, “Commerce and Trade expressions in the Holy Qur'an”, “Development Index: a detailed review of the measurement of human capital development”, “Millennium Development Goals of the United Nations and the Arab Spring”, “Islamic business ethics and values”, “Corporate Social Responsibility”, “Corporate Governance” and etc are planned to be discussed during the event.

Turkish President Abdullah Gul and a number of senior officials, the Istanbul Stock Exchange’s officials, the leadership of Banks Association of Turkey, MUSIAD, professors of a number of universities of the United Kingdom and the United States (Durham, Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Rice) will make speeches at the forum.
Considering what's going on in much of the Islamic world, the notion of Islam engendering equity and stability is risible verging on the hilarious. As for growth, when chicks are kept down and aren't educated, they have little choice but to pop out lots and lots of babies. So, yeah, that growth thing is definitely a go.
