And here I thought that playing Cowboys and Indians--one of my favorite childhood games in the blessedly innocent 1950s--had become grossly politically incorrect and multiculturally insensitive. But, as Kate McMillan likes to remind us, "It's different when _they_ do it."
(On an additional nostalgic note, when I was four years old I had both a cowboy outfit and an Indian war bonnet [that looked very much like a scaled-down version of the one worn by the "chief" in the photo]. . . . I guess my four-year-old self had much in common with PM Trudeau.)

On my personal note--when I was a girl, I didn't want to be a princess. I wanted to be a cowgirl.
