More "Fun" at the "Human Rights" Mausoleum

Ordinarily I wouldn't be at all pleased by Ukrainians protesting a Holocaust exhibit. But since it's the one in Canada's absurd "human rights" mausoleum, an edifice which has elevated two peoples' victimhood (Aboriginals being the other), compelling all other victim groups to settle for a "runner-up prize"--i.e. a mention in the Zone of Mass Atrocity (which sounds like an exhibit Hannibal Lecter might have curated)--one can easily see why Ukrainians might be irate. They're especially peeved by the mausoleum's rationale for their also-ran status. Rather than accepting it, they have made the following demands of the Canadian government:

1. Reconstitute the Museum’s Board of Trustees;

2. Conduct an independent review of the design, layout and content of the Museum in a public and transparent manner to ensure that the museum’s content and design is decided upon and displayed in a fair and equitable manner;

3. Suspend any further funding for the Museum until issues surrounding the governance and content of the Museum are reviewed, and furthermore require the suspension of any procurement that is predicated on a design, layout and content until an independent review is concluded.

The mausoleum was supposed to be a "human rights" light unto the nations, inspiring them to be better and more virtuous than they currently are. Instead, it has turned into a massive bone of contention, with victim groups vying with one another for most favoured victim group status.

All I can say is: what a pathetic joke!
