Let the Spin and Disembling Begin

One needn't be a Delphic oracle to predict you'll be hearing a lot of the following in coming days:

• Osama is dead: America and Muslims can now close the book on 9/11 and finally put their "conflict" behind them.
• Islam is a religion of peace and Osama violated its peaceful precepts/practised an aberrant form of the faith.
• The Zionists killed him/he's still alive.
• The key to world peace is ending Israel's "occupation" of Palestine.
• Only a tiny minority of extremists--a miniscule radical fringe, really--ever thought Osama was a good guy/was on the right track.
• Did we mention that Islam is really, really peaceful?
