So Much for That Much Vaunted "Ban" On Al Quds Day in Toronto This Year

B'nai Brith Canada went to a lot of trouble to get the province to withhold official permission for the crazed Khomeinists to hold their Zionhass-a-palooza on the grounds of Queen's Park. As predicted, that won't stop the hatefest-in-the-guise-of-a-protest from going ahead as planned:
2015 International Al-Quds day will held on Satuday July 11, 2015 at 3:00 Join us https://www.facebook.com/events/1592122177728246/

We will gather at North side of Queens Park (110 Wellesley St W Toronto, ON) and march to US Consulate at 360 University Avenue.

Christian, Muslim, Native Canadians and all other communities in solidarity with the civilian victims of global Zionism, Imperialism, occupation, neocolonialism, racism, Islamophobia, takfirism and oppression, for the sake of truth.

Say NO to this grave injustice and be a part of the tens of millions around the globe raising their voice for the voiceless.

We ask you to invite all your family and friends to take a stand against oppression.

Remember, you don't need to be a Muslim to stand up for Injustice, you just need to be a human.
That last caveat--the requirement "to be a human"--may be asking too much.

Remember, you don't need to be a human to protest the "Injustice" of a Jewish Israel daring to exist and thrive in an area which Khomeinists and other Islamists believe belongs solely and in perpetuity to Allah's submissives. And far be it from me to point out to humans and non-humans alike that it is more than a tad inhumane of them to focus exclusively on "injustice" done to Palestinians and ignore, say, gays being strung up in Iran, heads rolling in the "Islamic State" and chicks getting killed for the sake of family "honour" in Pakistan.

The outrage over "injustice" seems awfully--dare one say, antisemitically?--selective to me.

Update: Just wanted to point out that the reference to "global Zionism" in this para--
Christian, Muslim, Native Canadians and all other communities in solidarity with the civilian victims of global Zionism, Imperialism, occupation, neocolonialism, racism, Islamophobia, takfirism and oppression, for the sake of truth.
--could well be construed as criminal hate speech. But since it isn't being uttered by a Nazi of the Germanic, Aryan variety (Nazi/"white power" hate speech being the only sort authorities ever bother about), the Khomeinists and their flying monkeys know they can spew their Zionhass with complete impunity. (Not that I believe speech should be criminalized. Only meaning to underscore the absurdity and unfairness of having hate speech laws that pertain to some people/groups but not to others.)

Were I in Toronto, I would be tempted to go to the day with a placard commemorating the 23 Egyptian Christians who were martyred by ISIL.

I think counter-protesters should have placards with a photo of the Ayatollah Khomeini and the words: "My name is the Ayatollah Khomeini and I approve this Al Quds Day hate rally."

Lets hope nobody calls in a bomb scare at the US Consulate, would be a shame to spoil their day. :)
