Hanks and Spielberg see in 'The Pacific' a harbinger of today's wars announces the CSM headline.
That's because Hanks and Spielberg, like lots of Hollywood folks, have been Zinnified.
Aside from the fact that both Pearl Harbor and 9/11 were sneak attacks, those who still have their wits about them see nary a trace of the Pacific war against the Japanese in the anti-jihad.
Probably the biggest difference between the War in the Pacific and the war in, say, Afghanistan: the good guys won the former.
