Burman's Back and Guess Who's Got Him?
From the Toronto Star:
After an influential three years with Al Jazeera English, during which the Qatar-based news network doubled its audience and saw a sharp increase in international credibility for its in-depth coverage of the Egyptian revolution, Tony Burman is coming home to Toronto.
“I’ve been away for three years, including more than two years far, far away in the desert of the (Persian) Gulf. I just thought it was time for me to return,” Burman, who is also former editor-in-chief of the CBC, told the Toronto Star Tuesday.
And he’s got a new job.
Burman will be writing a weekly column for the Star beginning in September...
How perfect is that?
