Pictures From an Ineffectual Flotilla Boat

Now that the exploits of the Little Gaza Boat That Couldn't have ended with a whimper and not the bang boatniks were going for, it is possible to look upon these artistic, hagiographic photos by Toronto Star shutterbug Jim Rankin (who was there to capture every "inspirational" moment)...and chuckle with mordant glee. I especially enjoyed the shots of boatniks simulating their "civil disobedience" moves in advance of their craft being boarded by Israeli soldiers--hilarious! How disappointing the martyrdom interruptus must be for them all.

Gaza boatnik "George" wore this T during his recent adventures in Greece. (George obviously thinks ships are built for defying the Jews' "illegal" blockade--the message implicit in this shirt in that context.)
