Turning Japanese

Now, this is just silly:

Bottoms Up: International Co-operation Minister Bev Oda, Associate Minister of National Defence Julian Fantino, Minister of State for Finance Ted Menzies, and Defence Minister Peter MacKay drink sake at the Japanese emperor’s birthday celebrations at the Westin hotel in Ottawa on Nov. 24.

Maybe in honour of the Japanese emperor's birthday the House of Commons should substitute sumo wrestling for regular debate. If the experiment works out well it can become a permanent arrangement.

I can just see the Emperor and his staff performing the complimentary ritual on the Queen's birthday ...
OK, maybe not.
This is rediculous.
Fantino should be in jail for his role in Caledonia, and Peter MacKay should be off at a fishing camp somewhere.
