Our public broadcaster airs an interview with Rosenberg's son, Robert Meeropol, who has remained a die-hard radical leftist, and who goes to bat for his mom's innocence based on "new" information. Last month, however, an expert on the case explained why the information is not only not so new, but must be read in context (something which Ethel's son is reluctant to do).
Given Meeroopol's political stance and the cluelessness it engenders, it is not surprising that he would equate the "witch hunt" of the 1950s with today's search for "terrorists".
