Friedman's Fudging

Barack Obama has literally been spending like there's no tommorow, but NYT sage Thomas L. Friedman professes to see no difference between Dubya-type spending and Hopeychangey-type spending:
Having helped run the deficit to new heights during the recent Bush years, the G.O.P. is now unwilling to take any responsibility for dealing with it if it involves raising taxes.
What a crock! Bush's spending spree was peanuts compared to Obama's. If the GOP is averse to raising taxes, it's because somebody has to act like a responsible adult and reign in the spendaholics.
