I can't believe that they are saying that sleep deprivation is a violation of his rights. College and University students subject themselves to that all the time. Not to mention other people. In fact in the Canadian Army it's standard and considered "Good Training". I also like how the articles author says it's the duty of the Harper government. What about the Chretien or Martin governments? Don't they have any responsibility for Khadrs continuing incarceration?

Interns training to become doctors are often horribly sleep deprived. I wonder--is that a violation of their "rights" or of their patients'?
