In the Age of ISIS, Fearing Fear Is NOT Our Biggest Problem, I Fear
The line in Obama's Oval Office speech about "freedom" being more powerful than "fear" was meant to remind people of FDR's words, "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself."

A moment's consideration of the [Obama] speech makes it apparent that "the only thing to fear is not fear itself." The main thing to fear is falsification.
Exactamundo!
