Now, That's a Mitzvah--American Pharoah Jockey, Trainers Donate Belmont Earnings to Charity

These people personify the word "mensch":
In addition to [jockey] Espinoza donating all of the money he earned at Belmont to a California cancer treatment center, the Bafferts will be donating a total of $150,000 to three different charities. Those three charities are the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund, the California Retirement Management Account, and Old Friends Farm.
Each of the three will receive $50,000.
"I want to share this, I want to make sure that those horses that we really love, we have to take care of them," Bob Baffert said after winning on Saturday. "Win, lose, or draw, I was going to do it."
