Of Khadrs and Kafirs

I have it on good authority that, at a recent dinner attended by 1,300 litigation lawyers, an impassioned plea to "bring Omar Khadr home" (a question of his Charter "rights," you see) received an enthusiastic standing ovation. No surprise there, since the attorney being honoured that night is the lawyer of choice for Toronto's terrorist set.

I don't know if he'll want to represent Omar's brother who, despite being semi-paralyzed and wheelchair-bound, still managed to get himself arrested "for alleged sexual exploitation of a minor." For some reason, that sort of thing doesn't have the same leftist cachet.
