Really? Are they planning to do so at, say, the TDSB mosqueteria school?
Update: How about this version of the song for the TDSB Africentric schools?
For the first time in U.S. history, an American administration not only buys Jihadist excuses for terrorism, but facilitates them.I happen to believe it also matters because it shows the moral bankruptcy of an administration willing to lie like crazy to retain power.
...this wasn't a small lie. It was a bold, audacious lie on a date the American people are supposed to hold in sacred memory: 9/11. Nixon lied about a "third-rate burglary". But, as I told Hugh Hewitt earlier today, nobody died at Watergate.
There weren't four bodies left on the floor. And the Administration didn't attempt to pin the quadruple murder on some other fellow entirely.
But that's exactly what the Obama crowd did.
Was it worth it? Silly question. For these guys, it's always worth it.
"Greater love hath no man than this," quoth the President at Chris Stevens' coffin, "that a man lay down his life for his friends." Smaller love hath no man than Obama's - that he lay down his "friend" for a couple of points in Ohio.Questions: Do you think the mainstream media would have turned a blind eye to Benghazi had it been a Republican administration doing the lying? Can you imagine the uproar/outrage had that been the case? Would they have dropped it like a hot potato, or would they, a la Woodward & Bernstein, have held onto it like a pit bull with a big, meaty bone?
Just when you think Bernie Farber, bigtime censorship zealot and former head honcho of the Canadian Jewish Congress, can't get any smaller, he does. In a world in which the US Secretary of State thinks nothing of slurring Israel as an "apartheid" state, the Prime Minister of Canada is the best friend the Jewish state has. But Farber can't resist a cheap and vulgar crack (it is one of the paradoxes of our world that you can't say "bossy" or "man up" but you can say "shit" and "fuck" all you want).
The photoshop of which he is so proud imposes Stephen Harper on the current formal portrait of Her Majesty as Queen of Canada, and wearing her medals as Sovereign of the Order of Canada, which Bernie desperately wants to get in on, and of the Order of Military Merit, which may be a stretch even for him. I don't mind people sneering at the Queen - Quebec separatists do it all the time, and so do Aussie republicans and Guardian columnists and all kinds of other folk. But it's a strange thing for a creep like Bernie, who wasn't above accepting Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee medal, and is so pleased with it he uses the photograph of him getting it on his Twitter page, the self-same Twitter page where he pisses all over her.
It would be nice to think he'd be principled enough to give it back, but don't hold your breath. By the way, re John Kerry's "apartheid" crack, "Israeli Apartheid Week" is Bernie Farber's gift to the world. It started in 2005 in Toronto on his watch - while the cardboard warrior was too busy pursuing phantom enemies through the thought-crime division of the Canadian "Human Rights" Commission. As one of the "bully bloggers" who so irks the man (see, for instance, this and this), I am delighted to pay him this rhyming "tribute":
A mayor from Brussels said he would like to block organizers from holding an event that Jewish groups called a “summit meeting for anti-Semites.”
Vincent De Wolf, the mayor of Etterbeek — one of 19 municipalities that make up the Brussels autonomous region of the federal Belgian state — has asked the governor of the Arrondissement of Brussels-Capital for permission to issue a ban on the May 4 event, the news site www.deredactie.bel reported Wednesday.
The event is being organized by Laurent Louis, a Belgian lawmaker with a record of anti-Semitic and anti-Israel statements. In January, he said in parliament that “the Holocaust was set up and financed by the pioneers of Zionism.” Last year he posed for pictures outside parliament while standing on an Israeli flag.
He said the event he was planning in Brussels was a “European Congress of resistance.”
One of the speakers invited is the French comedian Dieudonne M’bala M’bala, who has seven convictions for inciting racial hatred against Jews and whom French Prime Minister Manuel Valls has termed a “professional anti-Semite.”
Other speakers include Alain Soral — the author of several anti-Semitic books and several people who collaborate with Dieudonne.
The Belgian League Against Anti-Semitism, or LBCA, said that if the event, which it defined as a “summit meeting for anti-Semites,” goes through, “it will be the worst gathering of conspiracy theorists and anti-Semitic propagandists that Belgium has seen since World War II.”
LBCA urged authorities to prevent the event from taking place because “it represents a grave danger to democracy.”...
