Ontario Liberals are Choosing a New Leader. I Hope They Go With Sandra Pupatello

Oh, not because I support her policies over those of her opponents. It's just that I get an admittedly childish charge out of repeating her semi-scatological name. (Poopatello, Poopatello, Poopatello, Poopyheadtello eat some jello: what fun!)

Also--she looks like someone who would not seem out of place on the Real Housewives of New Joisey--which would bring some much needed style, though not necessarily of the tasteful kind, to the drab and dour precincts of Queen's Park.

Devil Worshippers Applaud Florida's New School Rule

Gotta love those Satan fans:
A group of self-proclaimed Satanists on Friday praised Florida Gov. Rick Scott for signing a bill into law last year that lets Florida school boards permit student-initiated prayer and other "inspirational messages."
During their rally, a white sign with black lettering was stretched across the steps of Florida's Old Capitol proclaiming "Hail Satan! Hail Rick Scott!"
A high priest wearing goat horns and four "minions" dressed in black, hooded robes were joined by a spokesman, sound technician and camera crew.
The devil, though, was in the details...
You can say that again.

Queers for Sharia (With a Special Guest Appearance by OISE's Little Jenny Peto) on Display at This Year's Israeli Apartheid Week

If only because of the mordant laughter it would have elicited, I was hoping that UN World Interfaith Harmony Week would coincide with this year's Israeli Apartheid Week. As it turns out, though, the latter is a month later.

Oh, well. Maybe some of "interfaithers," "progressive" division, will find their way to this IAW event:
Coming Out Against Apartheid: Queer Solidarity Activism

Thursday, March 4, 2010 - 19:00 - 21:00
Thursday, March 4, 7pm: Coming Out Against Apartheid: Queer Solidarity Activism

Hosted by Students Against Israeli Apartheid – a working group of OPIRG-Toronto
Trish Salah is a Montreal-based writer, activist and teacher at Concordia’s Simone de Beauvoir Institute. She has been politically active organizing around a wide range of issues, including Palestinian solidarity, sex workers' rights, anti-racism and anti-capitalism, employment security and healthcare for transsexual and transgender people. Her first book of poetry, Wanting in Arabic, was published by TSAR Books and her recent writing appears in the journals Open Letter, No More Potlucks, and Aufgabe. Her new manuscript is titled “Lyric Sexology.”
John Greyson is a Toronto video artist/filmmaker whose features, shorts and installations include Fig Trees (Best Documentary Teddy, Berlin Film Festival, 2009), Proteus (Diversity Award, Barcelona Gay Lesbian Film Festival, 2004), and Lilies (Best Film 'Genie', 1996). An associate professor in Film at York University, he was awarded the 2007 Bell Canada Award in Video Art.
Jenny Peto is an activist with the Coalition Against Israeli Apartheid and a student in Sociology and Equity Studies at OISE. Her research on Israeli Apartheid has focused on the co-optation of human rights, including queer and feminist issues, by the Israeli State and its supporters.
Jenny Peto again? Oy to the vey! But speaking of the, er, co-optation of human rights--isn't that what the Zion-loathers have done? Co-optationed (sic) "human rights" as a smokescreen for their own Marxism and/or Islamic supremacism--the reason they continually cast aspersions on Israel in particular and the West in general--and their thirst for power?

Update: An antidote for IAW Big Lies:

Hot Damn! Toronto to Host UN's "World Interfaith Harmony Week" Next Month

Keep the week of Feb. 1-7 open for a plethora of samosa-filled events:
The week’s festivities are still being planned, but so far sponsors include the Toronto Area Interfaith Council, which represents numerous religions. The kickoff event on Feb. 1, sponsored by the Toronto chapter of the Islamic Supreme Council of Canada, will be about celebrating interfaith culture and will be held at Subhani Hall at the Jamia Riyadhul Jannah, a mosque in Mississauga.
Can't hardly wait. Anything interfaithy sponsored by the UN (Ground Zero for global Zionhass) that includes the Islamic Supreme Council of Canada (Syed Soharwardy's supremacist outfit) is bound to be little more than smoke and mirrors intended to beguile ignorant but well-meaning infidels fantabulous!

"Interfaith" in Action: Kafirs, Khomeinists and the Muslim Brotherhood Pay for Islamic Prayers at U of T's Christian Theological College

Congrats to Emmanuel College on its brand spanking new prayer and ablution facilities!:
Dr. Bullock said the Muslim prayer room includes separate ablution facilities– special washing facilities used before prayer – for men and women, new carpets and a refurbished ceiling, and a wall so that worshippers are not disturbed when people come into the room.  Emmanuel College and Victoria University covered the approximately $70,000 cost of preparing the ablution facilities and various sources in the Muslim community -  including the Canadian Jaffari Muslim Foundation*, the Islamic Foundation of Toronto, the Islamic Institute of Toronto, the Muslim Chaplaincy, and the Muslim Students Association of the University of Toronto** – donated the approximately $25,000 to renovate the prayer  room.
Mark Toulouse, Principal of Emmanuel College and Professor of the course The History of Christianity at Emmanuel College, said the University of Toronto has a large number of graduate and undergraduate Muslim students at its St. George Campus; and while there are multiple prayer facilities on the west side of the campus, the east side didn't have any.
“It's significant to provide a prayer room for Muslim students. As an interfaith school, we want to show how important these relationships are.  This theological school is historically Christian, but we want dialogue with other faiths to show how much we respect them. Prayer is very important to the daily exercise of the practice of Islam, so we need to provide space for their religious practices. Hospitality is most important.”...
There's a point at which "hospitality" veers into rank dhimmitude. It appears Prof. Toulouse has reached it.

The Madness of Arming a Pathological Jew-Hater

America sends F16s to old Mo "Jooos R Animals" Morsi. Andrew McCarthy has this to say about that:
When Mohamed Morsi dehumanizes Jews as “the descendants of apes and pigs,” there’s an elephant in the room. We find it here:
Those who incurred the curse of Allah and His wrath, those of whom some He transformed into apes and swine, those who worshipped evil — these are many times worse in rank, and far more astray from the even Path!
You see, Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood mahoff–turned–president did not conjure up the apes-and-pigs riff on his own. When Morsi fulminates that Muslims “must not forget to nurse our children and grandchildren on hatred towards those Zionists and Jews, and all those who support them,” he is taking his cues straight from the Koran. Or rather, from the Holy Koran, as “progressive” American politicians take pains to call it in the off hours from their campaign to drive every last vestige of Judeo-Christian culture from the public square...
And a damn fine job they're doing, so let's a round of applause for these chumps.

Happy-Go-Jihadi

My chuckle of the day:
College classmates say that an Oregon terrorism suspect was a happy-go-lucky college student who enjoyed drinking and football.
The image described by classmates Friday in the terrorism trial of Mohamed Mohamud is a strong contrast to the man depicted in previous testimony as a hardened, teenage jihadi intent on killing thousands.
Mohamud has been charged with attempting to detonate a bomb at a Christmas tree-lighting ceremony in Portland in 2010. The bomb was a fake supplied by undercover FBI agents.
Elyssa Ridinger was a freshman in Mohamud's class at Oregon State University in 2009.
She testified that on the morning of the tree lighting, she, Mohamud and their friends went Black Friday shopping and that he was in good spirits.
She says he showed no signs of anti-Western sentiment.
Well, if I were a hardened jihadi intent on killing thousands of infidels, I'd probably pretend to be happy-go-lucky, too. Generally speaking, acting all snarly and shouting "Allahu Akbar!" to your schoolmates is not the way to go when plotting large scale terror attacks.

"Indigenous Spring or Intifada"?

Neither, actually. But that doesn't stop the outfit posing the question--the Canadian Arab Federation--from trying to hoist its bedraggled Zion-loathers flag on the passing bandwagon of disgruntled Aboriginals. It's a turn of events which, though hardly surprising, is more than a little alarming:
The winds of change that swept across the globe have reached our shores.
The world watched as the Arab-speaking peoples whose suffering can be measured in decades, rose up for dignity and justice. First Nations Peoples of Canada, who have suffered for centuries on their land, are no longer remaining idle in the face of continuing injustices.
Correcting the wrongs of the past should not await a First Nations Spring. The Harper government would be well advised to change course in dealing with Indigenous grievances. It is far too easy to continue the course that successive Canadian governments have taken in dealing with First Nations; although vastly different consequences may ensue this time around. An open and honest dialogue that is free of hateful stereotypes is a necessary starting point to addressing this pressing and just cause.
The Canadian Arab Federation supports the rights and interests of First Nations Peoples and their endeavors to correct the mistakes of the past and present. CAF calls on Prime Minister Harper to seize the practices of the past and uphold the commitment he made to work with First Nations Peoples. The rights of First Nations have been usurped for far too long and a fair and just implementation of existing, enshrined and negotiated treaty rights must begin.
Victims of a feather stick together? Good luck with that one, angry Arabs. (BTW and FYI First Nations Peoples of Canada: should sharia come to our shores, your treaty rights will be null and void and "usurped" forever. Stick that in your peace pipe and smoke it).

Breaking News: Rob Ford Wins Appeal, Will Remain as Toronto's Mayor

A big win for democracy--and the fat man. A huge loss for the vindictive left.

Mo Morsi Beseeches Combustive Populace to Observe 2nd Anniversary of Egypt's "Revolution" in a Civilized Manner

No dice, Mo.

Fawlty Towers, PC Version

Semi-amusing, but nowhere near as rib-tickling as the original.
