Jeremy Corbyn's Labour of Hate

Roy Liddle, one of 18 Labour party members suspended for unacceptable sauciness, is dubious about the party's probe into its own innate, endemic Jew-hate and its sources (my bolds):
...the Labour party’s investigation into anti-Semitism within its ranks is being prosecuted with enormous rigour and probity. This much is immediately evident by Labour’s decision to reinstate party activist Jackie Walker, who had said that ‘Jews’ financed the slave trade. And then she added that black people were undergoing a holocaust right now, a consequence of horrid western imperialism, whereas the Jews weren’t, OK?
OK--so what's the take-away, Roy?:
At the moment, the Labour party — led by a man who calls the deeply anti–Semitic terrorist group Hamas his ‘friends’ — has suspended perhaps 18 people in the row over anti-Semitic comments. Jeremy Corbyn has said himself that anti-Semitism is not ‘a huge problem’ within the party. Following which analysis, he then appointed the not noticeably Jewish Shami Chakrabarti to lead the investigation into anti-Semitism within the addled ranks of his Momentum supporters and Muslim councillors.
I am one of the 18 still suspended, for having attempted to explain where Labour’s anti-Semitism came from — to wit, the infantile and sometimes fascistic white liberals who comprise Momentum and loathe Israel perhaps as an adjunct to loathing the West, and from Labour’s growing Muslim membership, many of whom simply hate Jews, full stop.
It is not remotely a serious investigation. Nor could it ever be, because — as Douglas Murray has pointed out — the very top of the Labour party is now comprised of people who support Muslim terrorist attacks upon Israel and, further, equate Jews with capitalism and in particular western capitalism. Oh, and they also have big noses, of course. Perhaps we should fling sausages at them.
Sausages? Surely not. Surely the best thing to fling at Jews in our day is what might be characterized as a metaphorical sausage, to wit, yet another UN resolution condemning iniquitous Zion. ;)

Repent, "Islamophobes"!

Azeezah Kanji, a "moderate" Muslim who is a vocal apologist for Islam and who often participates in local "interfaith" hocus pocus, lectures us "Islamophobic" infidels from a bully pulpit in the Toronto Star. Kanji is determined to sell us the line that "right wing extremists" are far more worrisome than jihadi terrorism, which, she claims, has been way overblown:
Stereotypes about Muslim violence have sustained the War on Terror’s project of violence since its birth. The War’s dangerous excesses in Canada — an extra $92 billion allocated to national security spending in the decade after 9/11; expansion of state powers of surveillance, which have been used to monitor and stifle activists and dissenters; the proliferation and broadening of terrorism offences, to now include such vague crimes as “promoting or advocating the commission of terrorism offences in general” — have been justified by citing the supposedly excessive danger posed to Canadians by Muslim “terrorists.”

This fear of irrational Muslim “terror” has itself proven remarkably impervious to rational analysis. Indeed, according to the Global Terrorism Index 2015, “Islamic fundamentalism was not the primary driver of lone wolf attacks [the predominant source of deaths from ‘terrorism’ in the West since 2006], with 80 per cent of deaths in the West from lone wolf attacks being attributed to a mixture of right wing extremists, nationalists, anti-government elements, other types of political extremism and supremacism.”
And yet, Muslims in Canada have been made to bear the brunt of the state’s suspicion...
Yeah, that's, like, soooo unfair.

Or is it?:
CNSNews.com) – The U.S. State Department’s annual Country Reports on Terrorism 2015, released on Thursday, counts 11,774 terrorist attacks in 92 countries last year, but it says that’s an improvement over 2014.
“The total number of terrorist attacks in 2015 decreased by 13% and total deaths due to terrorist attacks (28,328) decreased by 14%, compared to 2014,” the report says. “This was largely due to fewer attacks and deaths in Iraq, Pakistan, and Nigeria. This represents the first decline in total terrorist attacks and deaths worldwide since 2012.”
“Of the 28,328 people killed in terrorist attacks in 2015, 6,924 (24%) were perpetrators of terrorist attacks,” the report says. “Perpetrators were killed intentionally in suicide attacks, accidentally while attempting to carry out attacks, or by security forces or victims responding to attacks.
“This is an 11% increase in the number of perpetrator deaths, compared to 2014,” says the report.
The report also says the number of terrorist kidnappings and hostage-takings increased in 2015 to more than 12,100.
Although terrorist attacks took place in 92 countries in 2015, they were heavily concentrated geographically, the report says:
More than 55 percent of all attacks took place in five countries (Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, and Nigeria), and 74 percent of all deaths due to terrorist attacks took place in five countries (Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nigeria, and Syria).
In several countries, including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, the Philippines, Syria, and Turkey, terrorist attacks and total deaths increased in 2015.
Right wing "lone wolves" my dimpled Tory arse! Sounds to me like Azeezah's blowing smoke--again.

Men of the People/Grandiose Gesticulators: Huey Long & Donald Trump

First, Huey:

Next, there's no Dewey and Louie, but there is a/the Donald:

Update: We know there's no one--and certainly no communications expert--in Trump's camp who can tell him to shut up. But he should really have the good sense (has he any?) to shut up about this one.

"You Said You Owed It To the Imams"

The Parole Board of Canada has ruled that the leader of the Toronto 18, that "broad strata" who were planning to pull off an impressively destructive feat of jihad for the sake of Allah, has shown insufficient contrition to be released just yet. To the contrary, the lad (who is now 31) is rather enjoying his notoriety as chief plotter (he "organized training camps near Washago, Ontario, in December 2005 to prepare recruits for attacks), and "also appeared to relish the opportunity to speak at conferences" once he's no longer in the joint.

That said, the board did express some optimism:
The decision stated Ahmad “had gained a new perspective and that you now realize everything is not black and white. You are beginning to develop a stronger capacity for insight.”
If he serves the rest of his sentence, he would be released on January 24, 2018.
Ahmad said he wanted to study robotics at Humber College.
In January, he was shifted to a medium security institution where he works as a food tray collector and a peer health counsellor. He also receives counselling by imams.
Wow. He sounds like a reformed man. ;)

UNRWA Is Special and Singular--But Not In a Good Way

As Yoram Ettinger (a gentleman and a scholar whom I once had the privilege of meeting) observes, there is nothing--and I mean nothing--like UNRWA (my bolds):
UNRWA was established on December 8, 1949 as a temporary, 2-3-year relief agency, but became permanent, the largest UN agency, overstaffed, featuring a $1 BN pension fund, and used as a dagger aimed at Israel.
UNRWA deals only with Palestinian refugees, employing 30,000 people, compared with 6,400 people employed by the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, which deals with 60 million refugees. The UN High Commissioner for Refugees resolves/ends refugees’ status and minimizes their numbers; UNRWA perpetuates and exacerbates refugees’ status and inflates their numbers.
According to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, as stipulated by the 1951 UN Convention on Refugees: refugee status is not inherited by descendants, but UNRWA applies refugee status in perpetuity – very liberally without much scrutiny - to Arabs (including foreign laborers) who were in Palestine for only two years before the 1948 war.
In 2012, UNRWA employees “elected candidates affiliated with Hamas terrorists to 25 out of 27 seats on a union board that represents ten thousand UNRWA workers.  UNRWA facilities were used by Hamas in 2014 to store missiles.
In other words, UNRWA is as much a terrorist entity as Hamas is. But since, incredibly, it has managed to retain its humanitarian gloss, usefully idiotic infidels continue to accord it both credibility and funding, neither of which it deserves. (Dare we call those lopsided numbers vis-à-vis UNRWA and the UN refugee agency that serves the rest of the world's refugees a "disproportionate response"?)

France's Clear Conflict of Interest Makes It a Less Than "Honest Broker" When It Comes to Forcing Israel and the PA Back to the "Peace" Table

France wants to kickstart the next round of the interminable and pointless "peace process." At the same time, however, Palestinian Media Watch reports that France continues funding [the] PA general budget which pays salaries to terrorists, a reality which should preclude the French from taking the initiative here.

Today's Oddly Precise Number: 499

That's how many "Islamic extremists" are said to pose a threat in Germany.

Couldn't they find just one more jihadi to round it out to 500?

It's Raining CATSA and Dogs!

Sorry, but I couldn't resist writing the above when I read this--a Ceeb report detailing how the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) is keeping us "safe" by... X-raying potentially terroristic canines?!?

Ontario "Human Rights" Tribunal Wastes Time, Money On Kvetching Midwives Who Claim They Don't Earn as Much as Physicians Do Because of "Discrimination"

Trouble is, as the NatPo's Robyn Urback points outs, not only does it take a lot more time, study and money to become a doctor than it does to become a midwife, but the idea that the earning disparity is due to a "gender gap" is ridiculous. Not that that's prevented our e'er-vigilant "human rights" inquisitors from granting legitimacy to the lunacy:
Women outnumber men at nearly every medical school across the country, and there are nearly 1,500 more female physicians under 35 than males practising in Canada in 2016, according to statistics from the Canadian Medical Association. Therefore, to suggest that midwives are paid less than doctors because the province places greater value on the latter as a “male-dominated” profession is to misrepresent the current demographics of physicians in Canada.
The Ontario Human Rights Tribunal has already wasted three years on procedural trivialities regarding this case, and it’s only just getting started. Unfortunately, it seems poised to consume even more time, money and resources on a case that probably never should have made it to the tribunal in the first place.
What do you want to bet that, after lots more investigation and adjudication, these "human rights" doofuses end up siding with the midwives?

Iran's Supreme Leader Sends a Message to Those Satans, Great and Small

I'm paraphrasing, but the gist is: "I may have signed your nuke deal (why wouldn't I, when, obviously, it gave me everything I wanted?), but I still hate you to the core and with ever fiber of my being."

How the President, His Minions and CNN Conspired to Muddy the Waters Re Benghazi Until After Obama's Re-Election

And, yes, at this point, with sleeping Hillary poised to take the White House, it does make a difference.

Update: Ever wonder what happened to the fellow whose YouTube video "insulting" Islam's founder was falsely blamed for inciting the Benghazi violence?  Looking on the bright side, he's no longer in the slammer. Sadly, though, his life is pretty much in ruins:
Nakoula, an Egyptian born Coptic Christian, is presently on supervised probation in Los Angeles. He lives a quiet life at a homeless shelter provided by the First Southern Baptist Church. He earns $300.00 a month working part time at a pizza parlor, a job he has had for one year.
“I’m a very poor person. I’m a homeless person. I like to keep my mouth shut. I don’t like to go to jail again. I like to stay with people and be quiet and keep a low profile.”
“I’m working part time in the church and helping the homeless, because I live with them.” According to Nakoula some in the shelter are aware of who he is, but he mainly keeps to himself helping out in the kitchen.
A cautionary tale for others who would dare "insult" you-know-who/what and be scapegoated for it by the powerful.
