I live in a city which has vast temperature variations; where it can be blisteringly hot and humid in the summer, and bone-chillingly cold in the winter.
A climate such as this is apt to use plenty of energy to cope with it all.
And yet, there are those who beseech us lay off the air conditioning when it gets hot as blazes (for the sake of "saving" the planet, of course).
Isn't that every bit as nutty as telling us to turn off the heat during a winter deep freeze?

Would it not be easier to just fire everyone in Toronto Public Health, as they seem to be finding more and more idiotic ways to waste money.
