Was it but a mere decade ago that a fresh-faced Israel-loathing Socialista took her place in the spotlight with a cranky polemic decrying the international inroads being made by American "branding"?
Why, yes; yes it was.
Ten years on, I could care less if Starbucks is still opening stores hither and thither. This is the kind of "globalization" that's far more worrisome.
