It would be nice if the families of the victims of the Fort Hood shooter could get some of the $300,000 in pay the shooter received while awaiting his trial. But they can't because, according to the jihadi's lawyer, the money has already been divvied out to, ahem, charity--and for reasons of privacy/client-lawyer privilege, he's unwilling to disclose the recipients of Hasan's largesse.
How sick-making would it be if Hasan doled out his U.S. army pay to rackets that uphold his jihadi ethos? Very sickening indeed, I'd say.
