Obama Speech Marks New High, er, Low, er, High

Every time I think Obama cannot possibly exceed his C. Q.--his cluelessness quotient--damned if he doesn't go ahead and prove me wrong. Today, in a C.Q. high, he outlines his "new" foreign policy. It's pretty much the same as his "old" foreign--bow, scrape and grovel and self-excoriate with a barbed whip as you crap on allies and endeavour to "distinguish" yourself from your belligerent predecessor. The New York Times has the barfallacious details:
WEST POINT, N.Y. — President Obama outlined a new national security strategy rooted in diplomatic engagement and international alliances on Saturday as he repudiated his predecessor’s emphasis on unilateral American power and the right to wage pre-emptive war.
Eight years after President George W. Bush came to the United States Military Academy here to set a new course for American security in the aftermath of the Sept. 11 attacks, Mr. Obama used the same setting to offer a revised doctrine, one that vowed no retreat against enemies while seeking “national renewal and global leadership.”

“Yes, we are clear-eyed about the shortfalls of our international system,” the president told graduating cadets. “But America has not succeeded by stepping outside the currents of international cooperation. We have succeeded by steering those currents in the direction of liberty and justice, so nations thrive by meeting their responsibilities, and face consequences when they don’t...
And what "consequences," pray tell, has Iran faced as it rushes headlong toward nukedom? And isn't it interesting that while Bush was at the helm, no one massacred Army servicepeople or succeeded in parking a car full of explosives in Times Square on a Saturday night?

One would have be as "clever" as this idiot to think his "new" policy won't mean more of the same--and much, much worse.

(BTW, the war he's referring to was not "unilateral". It had the support of other countries, including the U.K., as well as the majority of Democrats. So along with being an idiot, he's also a liar.)

Obama is really into the Neville Chamberlain method. The guy is an unmitigated disaster and unfortunately for America, Israel and the rest of us, he is not done disastering!!!
