Seems to me that you are twisting the positions of the ceej just a bit. It says it has no firm position though likeMorton Weinfield it worries about the slippery slope.I know many orthodox Jews for example who worry that banning the niqab could lead to banning the yarmelka for example its just not so black and white.
As for the somali mentorship idea, I have had serious concerns with it. However when I read recently that Jason Kenny sees this project as the cornerstone of his Ministry's idea of a successful initiative I have begun to re-think it.
