It's a beautiful song, and beautifully sung in a poignant blues style (which is remarkable in a British singer!). I am sorry to say that I did not know of her--no doubt this is a clear sign that I am standing on the threshhold of old age--until I read the notices of her passing on several blogs (including, of course, this one). Her (oh so young!) life had a truly tragic quality; she must have been in great torment toward the end. I hope that she will find rest in God's merciful arms.
